The Falling Away of Football

 Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the LORD of lords. He who is, who was, and who is to come. He died, being crucified on the cross of Calvary and shed His blood so your sins could be forgiven. He was buried. God raised Him up from the dead three days later. Believe in the son of God Jesus and you will spend eternity with Him in the greatest place ever. Do not, and you will spend eternity in the lake of fire which is the consequences of sin.



The Falling Away of Football


It is appropriately referred to today as "pro football's birth certificate." The sport of American football itself was relatively new in 1892. Its roots stemmed from two sports, soccer and rugby, which had enjoyed long-time popularity in many nations of the world.



When football originally came out, it was originally more masculine. 
It had better sportsmanship.
Over time the sportsmanship worsened.
People complained more about things such as Colin Kaepernick.
Every time someone does the slightest thing that offends the sponsors it costs them a fine. It's all the about the money nowadays.


2 Timothy 3:1-5

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.


Phillipians 2:14-16

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
