Line Crossing. Increasing Knowledge of God cannot Tempt Man.

Jesus is A and Z. He who is, who was, and who is to come. He came into this world to died on the Cross of Calvary and shed His blood for the remission of your sins. He was buried. He was crucified, and God raised Him from the dead three days later. Believe in the LORD Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

James 1:13

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Genesis 3:1

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Adam and Eve were tempted and crossed the line.
They were tempted by the serpent.

Genesis 22:1-2

And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

God tempted Abraham and Abraham passed his test.
When God tempts someone what that means is, he's placing them in the temptation, but nothing further which would cause one to sin.

Matthew 4:1
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

When Jesus was tempted by the devil, He passed His test and stayed faithful unto the LORD.

1 Corinthians 1:25

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

God wants believers, who are the temple of the Holy Ghost, to have the full experience. When God allows one to be tempted by the Dragon, who is that old serpent called the devil, he wants you to stay faithful unto him.

What is better? A Christian who is never tempted by the devil, or a Christian that is able to be tempted by the devil and passes the test, staying faithful unto God.

Surely theIAMservant tells you the 2nd answer.

Revelation 12:9

9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

In reference to earlier in my post, though Abraham passed his test he failed at some point, as we all have. That's why we need Jesus.

When the LORD tempts someone, it simply means he places them in the temptation. It does not mean he tempts them to do evil or sin, but just to be tempted. Satan tempts one to sin.
-Adam and Eve failed and crossed the line
-Abraham passed and did not cross the line.
-Jesus passed and did not cross the line.

In other words, no matter how low you go when serving the LORD, as long as your faithful unto him it is impossible to sin against Him. There's an infinite bottom to how low a man can go, but until he crosses the line and sins, he is perfectly okay.
