Wisdom to The Older. Generation & Younger Generation
Jesus is the A and Z. The beginning and ending. He who is and was and is to come. He came into this world. He died. He shed His blood for the remission of your sins. God raised Him up three days later after being buried. Believe and you will not perish, but have everlasting life.
If you're older. Or retired here is wisdoms for you. Often times, the elder generation will say a "Back in my day" phrase. For example one will say, "Back in my day we used to budget better," or "Back in my day we used to look out for each other." Ecclesiastes 7:10 10 Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. Mark 16:15 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. If you see the younger people are doing something wrong, use it as an opportunity to teach them right. Teach them the gospel. Teach them a skill. Read the Bible to them. Do all things with charity. 1 Corinthians 16:14 14 Let all your things be done with charity. Matthew 22:37-39 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The neighbor is anyone around you. If you're elderly and have a home, let the children in your home and teach them Gospel, and read the entire Bible to them. If you know how to garden, teach them to garden. If you know how to sing, teach them how to sing etc. May you have sacrificial love for that is Christ-Like. Have all children memorize John 3:16 John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And teach the entire Bible from front to back. If you do not know how to teach, have the children read the Bible regardless. Many children get good at video games by spending many hours on them. It is the same concept reading the Bible. As for the younger generation, say thank you, and pay them if you can.
